Terms & Conditions

  1. All bookings are not considered final until your deposit has been received. Payment of deposit is acceptance of our terms and conditions. All deposits are non-refundable.

  2. Enquiry form, email or phone calls are a verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other terms and conditions agreed between both parties (The Client and DiscoDemons). Any alterations must be agreed by both parties.

  3. All outstanding fees are payable in cash on the day, prior to the start of the function (unless previously arranged). Cheques are not accepted on the day of the event. You may pay prior to the start date

  4. The entertainment will commence once full payment has been received.

  5. In the event of payment of the final balance not being received before or on the date of the Disco, DiscoDemons will seek to recover full costs + 50% administration charge at a later date.

  6. The Client shall have the right to cancel the booking by serving upon DiscoDemons not less than 28 clear days’ notice in writing. In the event of this, the client is liable to pay 50% of the outstanding balance to DiscoDemons. If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the function, the client is liable to pay the full remaining balance to DiscoDemons.

  7. In the unlikely event of DiscoDemons having to cancel due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, any fees paid to us by the client shall be refunded in full. (This will be the full extent of our liability) or in such circumstances, an alternative reputable disco entertainment company will be provided, although for your peace of mind, this has never happened.

  8. In the unlikely event that the equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond control i.e. a power cut) a full refund will be given for the time remaining. Back up equipment is always carried.

  9. Should DiscoDemons be temporarily rejected upon arrival at the venue due to circumstances beyond our control, the full remaining fee must still be paid, regardless of the start time.

  10. Should there be a power failure upon the arrival of DiscoDemons at the venue, 50% of the remaining fee is to be paid. Should a power failure occur during the performance has started, DiscoDemons are not obliged to provide any refunds.

  11. Access to the function is normally required at least 1 hour prior to the start time to set up the sound and lighting, also 45 Minutes minimum is required to pack up and vacate the venue.

  12. DiscoDemons reserve the right to cancel services should it be discovered that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

  13. If at any time, before or during the event, it is deemed that the DJ or property to be under threat, we reserve the right to terminate our services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

  14. During the event there is a very strong likelihood of photographs and or video being taken for publicity purposes. If you do not wish to have photos published on our website's or via any of our social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc then you must inform us in writing at least 7 days before the event takes place.

  15. Occasionally smoke and/or strobe lighting may be used as part of the show. If you believe any of your guests may be affected by these effects, please advise us accordingly.

  16. We carry Public Liability Insurance and Portable Appliance Testing certificates. Proof of these documents can be seen upon request.

  17. The client is liable for any damage caused to DiscoDemons property by guests at the event, either accidental or deliberate (e.g. a drunk person stumbling into the equipment or mishandling microphones). In the event that this causes the entertainment to end there will be no refund and the client is liable for repairs or replacement costs.

  18. DiscoDemons will accept music lists and requests in advance of functions and will endeavour to play a reasonable number of the clients' chosen requests, provided such requests are submitted 14 days in advance and in writing before the event. The client also agrees that DiscoDemons cannot guarantee the inclusion of any difficult to source, obsolete or deleted titles either requested at the event or previously notified.

  19. Wherever possible we will aim to accommodate client's requests for extensions to playing time. This will be subject to the venues permission and further charge.
